Cynthia M. CurrinEmail Ms. Currin earned her B.A. in 1977 and her J.D.
in 1980 from University of North Carolina, where she
was Phi Beta Kappa and Clerk of Court on the
Holderness Moot Court Bench. She concentrates her
practice in Social Security Disability Law and other
areas. Ms. Currin is a member of NOSSCR, National
Organization of Social Security Claimants
Representation. Ms.
Currin is licensed to practice in North Carolina,
U.S. District Court - Eastern District of North
Carolina, U.S. Court of Appeals - Fourth Circuit,
and U.S. Supreme Court. Also, she is certified to
conduct Court-Ordered Mediation in North Carolina
Superior Court and is a qualified Arbitrator for
North Carolina District 10. She serves on the Board of Editors for
Trial Briefs (The Journal of North Carolina Academy
of Trial Lawyers). She is a member of Wake County,
North Carolina and American Bar Associations, North
Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers (Member of Board
of Editors); American Association for Justice and North Carolina Association of Women
Attorneys. She currently serves on the North Carolina Bar
Association Committee for the Lawyer Referral
Service.
Ms. Currin is certified as a specialist in social security disability law by the NC State Bar. She has also acquired an "AV" rating from the prestigious Martindale Hubbell law directory. This is its highest rating. |
